Do you see Jordan? He’s the man in the center of the frame in the suit vest, a little out of place in the middle of thousands of tourists at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. In his right hand is a dozen roses, and in his left pocket he’s holding a small box with a ring inside. He’s been waiting there, standing just like that, for about 30 minutes. As I was setting up for my shot people started asking me if I knew what was going on. We found out later it was a hilarious struggle on the part of Abby’s friends/Jordan’s accomplices to get Abby to the Lincoln Memorial at the right time. So he waited, checking his cell phone every so often to make sure everything was going according to plan.
It started getting dark outside.
